“In amongst the almost sub-arctic conditions at Saxilby yesterday evening “the band played on” despite some girly protestations from the vox frontman. Good interesting choice of covers (“Mr Jones and Me” in particular), interspersed with some original material too. Shame about the weather but joking aside, excellent vocals, great gtr riffs from both sides of the stage (was that a flying V at one point?), a degree of ad-libbing vox sound effects from the rock steady bassist and of course superb stix work from the “heart of the machine” all added to the ambience of the evening.
